Our first hike on the season was up at Albion Basin. The road was closed down below because there was still snow. We parked in that parking lot and started our walk up to the camp grounds. Our intentions were to make it to Cecret Lake but we only made it up the road to the base of the campsites. We did not think we could make it in and back with Layla once it started to get to late. She feel asleep in Tanners arms at the very end of the hike.
We really enjoyed our time. Layla discovered shadows and loved seeing all the water that was the melting snow. We dropped her binky and blanket on the way up but there were some really nice people who picked them up and left their groups to give them to us. It was such a great hike and truly you will see more this summer.
