The Holidays Part 5 of 5 ( Finally!)

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE and DAY!!

The last Holiday we have is New Years Eve/ Day! My Woolley family does it big. We start with bowling at the BYU bowling alley. It was off to my Grandparents house for board games, video games, outside games, talking, FOOD and FOOD and more FOOD. We always have a lot of fun waiting for midnight and then going outside and banging pots and pans, blowing horns and just making noise. It is the best. Then we play games for an hour or so more. Finally it is time to go to sleep.

Tanner was the one taking the pictures and we did not end up getting one of him :(

New Years Day!

We woke up and ate our waffles. Play more games, do puzzles and so much more. Tanner was not feeling very good this year so we left a little earlier in the day but we got home and got to spend so good time with each other and watch Brave!

The Holidays Part 4 or 5

CHRISTMAS!!
Christmas Eve we went to my Grandma Taylor's and I got to see most of my cousins from that side of the family and its always good to see that side of my family. Then we left and headed up to Tanner's Grandma and Grandpa Haw's. They are such a cute and funny couple and it was even better to see cousins there that we don't get to see often. I really enjoyed getting to meet Amber. She is such a talented and beautiful girl. Then all of her brothers who are adorable and hilarious!  We got to read stories and sing songs at both homes and be reminded of the true meaning of Christmas!
Christmas! I love Christmas but man it is a little bit of a stressful Holiday for me. I try my best to not feel that way but I cannot help it with the number of houses we need to get to so that we can spend the Holiday with family. It starts with Tanner and I having our own Christmas at home ( That is my favorite part, we spoil each other), then to my parents house ( loving that they live close!!), Grandma Taylor is next ( We try to get to her house because she is such a wonderful lady and loves the quality time we get with her, even when she is sick on Christmas.) From there it is up to Sandy for Tanner's parents house (they are such a fun loving family and getting to be together.)We left there after a few hours and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Nilsson's house. There we have our call with Andrew. ( I love getting the call from Andrew, he is one of my very best friends.) After eating dinner quickly there we head to Provo for our last stop of the day at my Grandma and Grandpa Woolley's which is nice to end at because it is nice to sit and relax but have the option to play games, eat, talk or do whatever you want. Finally at 11 pm we are finally ready to go home and sleep or unpack everything we received. It was way to much and we feel very blessed with everything that we received.
The Holidays are wonderful and a time we get to see our family more often then just during the normal year.

Before

After

We are so blessed in our life and we are so grateful for everything that we have and everything that we received this Christmas!!

The Holidays Part 3 of 5

MY 23rd BIRTHDAY
My birthday came next. It was the best birthday I could have every asked for! My husband spoils me and helps me fulfill my dreams. This year, Tanner and I slept in, relaxed during the day, then at night we headed to the Grand America Hotel, the Melting Pot, and then the Kurt Bestor Christmas concert. Amazing all of it. I felt like a princess. The hotel was beautiful and very fancy. The Melting Pot was delicious! The Kurt Bestor concert was more fun then I thought I could have at a piano/orchestra concert. We ordered room service breakfast probably the first and last time we will ever do that. Then spent the day shopping. It was nice to shop with each other and just get to spend a whole day with my best friend. That night we got to spend time with my sister and brother-in-law by going to the Eclipse concert. It was a incredible weekend.

THANKSGIVING

Then we had Thanksgiving. It was our first normal Thanksgiving. Last year I was sick and Tanner had to leave to go back to the Sing Off and we were still just learning about being a new married couple. This year Tanner worked in the morning and by the time I got out of bed he was already back from work. We woke up, eat breakfast and made our first dish as part of Thanksgiving dinner. We made a fruit salad and it was actually very yummy. We had Thanksgiving dinner with my Taylor side of the family. Then we drove from Springville to Sandy to go to Tanner's grandparents house for desert. We got there just as many of the people were leaving. We try our best each Holiday to get to spend as much quality time as we can with both sides.

The Holidays Part 1 of 5

Wow, where to start. It has been a little while since I have written on the blog. We started with TSO Concert, then onto Thanksgiving, My birthday, Christmas and New Years. I am now finally getting the chance to document those holidays.

Tanner took me on a date to the TSO concert just like our first date. We even went to the same restaurant as we did on our first date also. We even sat at the exact same table. We loved every minute of the dinner and the concert.
