My younger brother got married on January 9, 2015. They are so happy and I am so happy for them.
They got married in the Draper Utah Temple. It was a little cold that day but it was sunny and nice. We got to the temple and dropped Layla off with her and mine cousins to play with while we went to the sealing. It is so nice to be able to be in the temple with my parents, siblings, grandparents and aunts and uncles. Having a family that is able to do to that together is amazing and wonderful. My Grandpa Woolley was the one who performed the sealing for Andrew and Jacqui. That was such a cool experience to have him be able to perform that ceremony. It made me laugh and cry a little. Then we got to see Andrew and Jacqui smiling so big at being married. After the ceremony we congratulated them and went to get Layla to change her into her "wedding" dress. We got changed and went out to wait for the newly married couple to come out of the temple to take pictures. We took pictures and then Tanner and I went home for the hour and a half between the temple and luncheon and we relaxed and put Layla down for a nap.
They had their luncheon at Rodizo Grill in American Fork. It was nice to be like the only people there during luncheon time because we go the meat to be circling around a lot and pretty consistently. It was great and we all stuffed ourselves. We were so full for most of the rest of the day. It was fun to see part of their wedding video and getting to watch pictures of their relationship and then growing up.
The reception was down at the Provo city library. It was decorated so pretty. It is so hard to explain. I hope the pictures can show how pretty it was. We talked with family and friends. They did the normal cutting the cake, tossing the bouquet and throwing the garter. It was fun. Then they did the first dance and had a little dance party after. Layla was loving the music and dancing. We got a few videos of it but she was loving it.
Then, they left on their honeymoon and we cleaned up and it was a beautiful wedding and reception. I cant wait for their life together and for us to get to know them as a couple better.
