Fishing in Alaska

Fishing in Alaska was such a great experience! Tanner and I went up to Soldotna Alaska with my family to go fishing. We caught so many fish! We brought home 500 lbs of fish with us. It was mostly  sockeye salmon, halibut, silver salmon, rock fish.
This was Tanner's first time really traveling with my family. It was fun to have the whole family there with us. We flew into Anchorage and then slept there for the first night and then drove to Soldotna. On our drive there we stopped at a wild life conservation center and got to see all the animals we wanted to see in Alaska but we did not have to see them in the wild. We saw moose, bear, elk, caribou, buffalo, and other animals.
The rest of the week was spent fishing in the Kenai River and the boys spend one day out in the ocean fishing, and we went to Homer another. We loved our experience in Alaska and would go again. Especially now that we know what to expect.
