The Month of March... written but not posted in March

Tanner and I have had a great month of March. Just some high lights. My brother came home from his mission and we have all been really happy that he is home. I missed him a lot and am glad he is home even though I am married now so its a little different not living at my parents now that he is home.
Here is Tanner and I at my parents after his homecoming talk.

Then tanner and I ran in "Utah's Home Amazing Race". We had so much fun. We were really good at the race and made like every light. We finished in like and hour and a half. We even got to meet some really nice people that we are defiantly going to need to stay friends with. We are sad we didn't win 10,000 for a down payment on a house but the people who won sounded like they really needed it, so we were more then happy for them!

Its soccer season so I have been going to my brothers soccer games as much as I can. I really enjoy getting to see him play and to be with family and to be outside! Even when its cold outside and we better than inside.

My brother Andrew who just got home from his mission needed something to do so he was able to till our backyard and rake it and now it is almost ready for sprinklers and sod.  This summer is going to be great. I cannot wait for summer to be out in the yard!!! We even built our own garden box. It is going to be a great summer.

Valentines Day!

This year I was planning on having Valentines Day's on Friday and not Thursday which was the real day. Tanner decided to be sneaky this year and do things throughout the whole day.
To start off the day Tanner made me breakfast in bed. It was oatmeal, a heart shaped hard boiled egg, and some juice, it was so yummy.

Tanner wrote out 10 notes for me that were 10 steps to a happy Valentines Day.

Step 1 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
Eat breakfast in bed!
Open Step 2 before you get ready for the day

Step 2 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
On Valentine's Day you should feel beautiful, so do your hair and makeup extra pretty today!
Open Step 3 when you get to work

Step 3 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
Eat Valentine's Day Candy!
Open Step 4 when some asks you, "Will you be my valentine?"

 Step 4 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
Enjoy your flowers!
Open Step 5 when you come home for lunch

Step 5 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
Eat heart-shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! And...have a quickie if you like
Open Step 6 when you get back to work

 Step 6 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
Go home from work early! Be home at 5:00 pm
Open Step 7 when you get home from work, but before you go inside

 Step 7 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
Go inside and listen to sappy love songs!
Open Step 8 before you have dinner

 Step 8 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
Dress classy and eat classy!
Open Step 9 when you get home from dinner

Step 9 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
***Censored***
Open Step 10 when you are ready for bed

Step 10 to a Happy Valentine's Day:
Cuddle!
Sweet dreams, Princess.  I love you!

I got one at each part of the day and it lead to me to when to open the next. It was so much fun. Then after getting breakfast and presents it was time to go to work.  I was out at different doctors offices for the beginning part of the day and when I got to the office, I had already had flowers delivered to me, with a note that asked me to be his Valentine. Of course I said yes!

Then I got lunch that was all PB and J made into hearts.

The best was that I got a note that said to go home from work at 5. I walked into the house and Tanner was singing me cheesy music. He has set up a whole stage and concert to sing to me. He sang a lot of my favorites songs.

Then he gave me a very pretty dress, that I love. It is my new favorite. Tanner picked it out all by himself and it is literally the perfect dress.
Then it was time for dinner. Tanner made reservations for us to go to Chef's Table. I have always wanted to go but it was never a realistic possibility and he knew that and he made the dream a reality. It was such a great night! I have a incredible husband who makes each holiday so amazing.

It was a WONDERFUL Valentines Day and I love my husband so much for making all of my dreams come true and for helping to make our life an adventure and a fairy tale.

Now, that the new year has started I have not had a lot of time to blog but I wanted to just catch up on what has happened in Tanner's and my life. January was such a blur. Tanner started school again and is not particularly loving it. I have just been working. Emari celebrated her first birthday. We had a nice family dinner for Jace's birthday and Tanner's mom's birthday. We went to the auto show at the South Towne Expo Center. It was very cold for weeks. Below 25 degrees most days. We went to BYU basketball games. Thanks Dad! I babysat Emari and watched her play the piano.

Here are some pictures of our life this last month.

My parents neighbor built a GIANT snowman.

It was very cold!!

The snow and salt on the road made the Mazda Tanner drives look like it has faded paint job.

Tanner and I as we opened up the huge trunk had the same thought of, " I should get in there."

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY! We had a lot of fun getting to spend time with Tanner's side of the family during the super bowl.

This is just a cute picture of Emari. We maybe love her a lot and have just as many pictures and videos of her as we do ourselves. She is just so dang cute.

It was a good month and we are looking forward to the rest of February and all that it will bring us.
